Synthesis and Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibition of Novel 2-(4-(Aryl)thiazole-2-yl)-3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydro-1H-4,7-methanoisoindole-1,3(2H)-dione Derivatives
(2016)Carbonic anhydrase (CA, EC 4.2.1.1) is a member of the metalloenzyme family. It catalyzes the rapid conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water to bicarbonate (HCO3 −) and protons (H+) and also plays an important role in ... -
Boronic acid-fumed silica nanoparticles incorporated large surface area monoliths for protein separation by nano-liquid chromatography
(2016)In this study, a novel boronic acid-fumed silica nanoparticles incorporated hybrid monolithic stationary phase for glycoprotein separation by nano-liquid chromatography was developed. The stationary phase was prepared in ... -
Purification and biochemical characterization of glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase, 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase and glutathione reductase from rat lung and inhibition effects of some antibiotics
(2016)G6PD, 6PGD and GR have been purified separately in the single step from rat lung using 2′, 5′-ADP Sepharose 4B affinity chromatography. The purified enzymes showed a single band on sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel ... -
Photodiode Based on CdO Thin Films as Electron Transport Layer
(2016)Cadmium oxide (CdO) thin films were synthesized by the sol–gel method. The films were analyzed by means of XRD, AFM, and UV/Vis spectrophotometry. X-ray diffraction patterns confirm that the films are formed from CdO with ... -
Variability of Essential Oil Composition of Origanum vulgare L. subsp. gracile Populations from Turkey
(2016)The aerial parts of fifteen different populations of O. vulgare L. subsp. gracile were investigated to determine their variability among essential oil compositions. Thymol, carvacrol, γ-terpinene and p-cymene were detected ... -
Detection of Variation in Long-Term Micropropagated Mature Pistachio via DNA-Based Molecular Markers
(2016)Determination of genetic stability of in vitro-grown plantlets is needed for safe and large-scale production of mature trees. In this study, genetic variation of long-term micropropagated mature pistachio developed through ... -
