(2018)Shamanism is a belief system practiced by the Turks in Central Asia since the previous years. Shamanism is the practice performed by the kam / shaman. Shamanism beliefs and practices have continued to influence Turks for ... -
Trigonometric factorizations of the Horadam sequence and its companion sequence
(2018)We consider the Horadam sequence {Wn} and its companion sequence {Xn} satisfying a second-order recurrence. We generalize earlier results by giving new results about factorizations of these sequences. In order to obtain ... -
Lactation response to soybean meal and rumen-protected methionine supplementation of corn silage-based diets
(2018)Corn silage, an important forage fed to dairy cows in the United States, is energy rich but protein poor. The objectives of this experiment were to investigate the effects on production of milk and milk components of feeding ... -
Purification of glutathione S-transferase enzyme from quail liver tissue and inhibition effects of (3aR,4S,7R,7aS)-2-(4-((E)-3-(aryl)acryloyl)phenyl)-3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydro-1H-4,7-methanoisoindole-1,3(2H)-dione derivatives on the enzyme activity
(2018)The use of quail meat and eggs has made this animal important in recent years, with its low cost and high yields. Glutathione S-transferases (GST, E.C.2.5.1.18) are an important enzyme family, which play a critical role ... -
Curcumin ameliorates doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity by abrogation of inflammation, apoptosis, oxidative DNA damage, and protein oxidation in rats
(2018)Doxorubicin (DXR) is a highly effective drug for chemotherapy. However, cardiotoxicity reduces its clinical utility in humans. The present study aimed to assess the ameliorative effect of curcumin against DXR-induced ... -
Experimental and Stochastic Reactor Modeling Results of an HCCI Engine Fueled with Primary Reference Fuel
(2018)In recent years, much research has been performed in order to decrease fuel consumption, noise, and exhaust emission levels in internal combustion engines. In this study, the effects of excess air coefficient on performance ... -
An improved version of innovative trend analyses
(2018)Systematic and random changes occur in any hydro-meteorological record and have significant effects on human activities on time and space scales. Although it is almost impossible to forecast the future behavior of any ... -
