Gold-supported activated NiZn coatings: hydrogen evolution and corrosion studies
(2017)Gold-supported Raney-type NiZn coatings were prepared on a thin Ni film-modified copper substrate (Cu/Ni/NiZn-Au). The hydrogen evolution activity, time stability and corrosion behaviour of the electrode was investigated ... -
The Investigation of Current-Conduction Mechanisms of Te/NaF:CdS/SnO2 Structure in Wide Temperature Range of 80–400 K
(2017)In order to interpret the current-conduction mechanisms of the Te/NaF:CdS/SnO2 structure, current–voltage (I–V) measurements were carried out in the temperature range of 80–400 K. Experimental results show that the main ... -
Analysis of photoconductive mechanisms of organic-on-inorganic photodiodes
(2017)In this work, it is shown that choosing an organic-on-inorganic Schottky diode for photoconductive sensing by a using a power law exponent (PLE or γ) determined at a single bias point is a limited approach. The standard ... -
The structural analysis of MWCNT-SiO2 and electrical properties on device application
(2017)Al/MWCNT-SiO2/p-Si device were obtained using chemical techniques and characterized using the I-V (under dark and light conditions) and C-V measurements depending on various frequency. MWCNT-SiO2 composite layer of the ... -
The effects of (graphene doped-PVA) interlayer on the determinative electrical parameters of the Au/n-Si (MS) structures at room temperature
(2017)Au/n-Si(MS) and Au/(0.07graphene-PVA)/n-Si(MPS) structures were fabricated on the same wafer at identical conditions and their electrical characteristics have been investigated by using current–voltage (I–V) and ... -
Influence of ground pumice powder on the bond behavior of reinforcement and mechanical properties of self-compacting mortars
(2017)The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the bond strength of self-compacting mortars (SCMS) produced from ground pumice powder (GPP) as a mineral additive. In this scope, six series of mortars including control ... -
Conformal Semi-Invariant Submersions from Almost Product Riemannian Manifolds
(2017)As a generalization of semi-invariant submersions, we introduce conformal semi-invariant submersions from almost product Riemannian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We give examples, and investigate the geometry of ... -
Synthesis, structural and thermal characterizations and in vitro cytotoxic activities of new cyclotriphosphazene derivatives
(2017)We investigated the cytotoxic effects of the newly synthesized cyclotriphosphazene derivatives on A2780 (ovarian), PC-3 and LNCaP (prostate) cancer cell lines. 4′-hydroxy-supstituted-chalcone compounds (2–8) were reacted ... -
Composition and Antimicrobial Activities of Marrubium astracanicum Jacq. subsp. astracanicum Essential Oil
(2017)The aerial parts of essential oils were obtained by hydrodistillation in a modified clevenger-type apparatus and their analysis were performed by HS-SPME. The essential oil aerial parts of Marrubium astracanicum subsp. ... -
Influence of ground pumice powder on the mechanical properties and durability of self-compacting mortars
(2017)The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanical properties and durability of self-compacting mortars (SCMs) produced from ground pumice powder (GPP) as a mineral additive. In this scope, 8 series of SCMs including ... -
Dye based photodiodes for solar energy applications
(2017)Coumarin (CO) doped methylene blue (MB) organic photo-devices were fabricated. The CO-doped MB (0.00, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05, 0.1 wt% CO) were coated onto the surface of a p-type Si substrate by drop casting method. Some electrical ... -
Estimation of cold carcass weight and body weight from several body measurements in sheep through various data mining algorithms
(2017)The goal of the present study was to compare the predictive performance of three data mining algorithms viz., CHAID, Exhaustive CHAID, and CART implemented in the estimation of cold carcass weight (CCW) and body weight ... -
Interfacial layer thickness dependent electrical characteristics of Au/(Zn-doped PVA)/n-4H-SiC (MPS) structures at room temperature
(2017)Au/(Zn-doped PVA)/n-4H-SiC metal/polymer/semiconductor (MPS) structures with different interfacial layer thickness values (50, 150, 500 nm) were fabricated and their electrical characteristics were compared. Their electrical ... -
On the Frequency and Voltage-Dependent Profiles of the Surface States and Series Resistance of Au/ZnO/n-Si Structures in a Wide Range of Frequency and Voltage
(2017)In order to interpret the electrical characteristics of fabricated Au/ZnO/n-Si structures as a function of frequency and voltage well, their capacitance–voltage (C–V) and conductance–voltage (G/ω–V) measurements were carried ... -
Chrysin protects rat kidney from paracetamol-induced oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, and autophagy: Amulti-biomarker approach
(2017)Paracetamol (PC) is a safe analgesic and antipyretic drug at therapeutic doses, and it is widely used in clinics. However, at high doses, it can induce hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity. Chrysin (CR) is a natural flavonoid ... -
