(2012)This study was done in order to figure out between the live weight and the characteristics of interior and exterior quality of eggs. Total 75 quails are used as animal material in this study. The quails are kept in the ... -
Synthesis and catalytic activity of ruthenium(II) complexes containing pyridine-based tridentate triamines (′ NNN ′) and pyridine carboxylate ligands (NO )
(2012)The reaction of [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2 with K[NO a-b] (NO- = 2-picolinate, a or 2-quinaldinate, b) gave neutral [(p-cymene)RuCl(NOa-b)] (1a-b), complexes which were treated with pyridine-based meridional triamine ligands (′NNN ... -
Influence of illumination intensity and temperature on the electrical characteristics of an Al/p-GaAs/In structure prepared by thermal evaporation
(2012)The temperature and illumination intensity dependence of current-voltage (I-V) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics of the Al/p-GaAs barrier diode were investigated. The ideality factor (n) and zero-bias barrier ... -
Efficient production of l-lactic acid from chicken feather protein hydrolysate and sugar beet molasses by the newly isolated Rhizopus oryzae TS-61
(2012)The aim of this study was to investigate production of l-lactic acid from molasses and chicken feather protein hydrolysate (CFP) by the newly isolated Rhizopus oryzae TS-61. R. oryzae TS-61 was capable of utilizing molasses ... -
Barrier height enhancement and temperature dependence of the electrical characteristics of Al Schottky contacts on p-GaAs with organic Rhodamine B interfacial layer
(2012)In this work, two types of Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs) with and without Rhodamine B interfacial layer, were fabricated and measured at room temperature in order to investigate the effects of the Rhodamine B interfacial ... -
Efficacy and inefficacy of refrigerated storages on some physical, physiochemical and electrochemical properties for organically-grown 'Royal Glory' and 'Redhaven' peaches
(2012)The study focused on organically-grown 'Royal Glory' and 'Redhaven' peaches, with the aim to evaluate some physical, physiochemical and electrochemical quality indices during and after refrigerated storages at 0, 5 and ... -
Effects of resveratrol on blood homocysteine level, on homocysteine induced oxidative stress, apoptosis and cognitive dysfunctions in rats
(2012)We aimed to examine the protective effects of resveratrol against homocysteine induced oxidative stress, apoptosis and cognitive impairment. Rats were randomly divided into three groups. Control group received standard rat ... -
Alleviation of salt-induced adverse effects in pepper seedlings by seed application of glycinebetaine
(2012)In this study, the possibility of enhancing salt stress tolerance of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) during early growth stages by seed application of glycinebetaine (GB) was investigated. To improve salt tolerance during ... -
