| en_US |

In this thesis, a solar-powered off-grid power system based entirely on a 12 V direct current (DC) power bus was designed and analyzed. The proposed system was configured without an AC inverter in order to minimize energy conversion losses and ensure reliable operation under field conditions. Electrical energy was generated by a photovoltaic panel, stored in a LiFePO₄ battery, and supplied to the system loads through a fused DC distribution line.
An electromechanical centering system was developed to ensure proper alignment of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with the wireless charging transmitter following landing. Once the UAV landing on the platform is detected, the motor-driven centering mechanism is activated to guide the UAV toward the wireless charging point located at the center of the platform. Upon completion of the centering process, the transmitter and receiver coils are brought into appropriate alignment, thereby enabling more reliable wireless power transfer.
Within this framework, a magnetic coupling-based wireless power transfer system was evaluated with the aim of reducing human intervention in autonomous systems and eliminating problems associated with mechanical contact. The wireless charging approach was integrated with the DC power infrastructure, allowing low-voltage loads to be supplied without the use of AC adapters. This configuration was intended to improve overall system efficiency, reduce maintenance requirements, and ensure safe energy transfer. The energy generation and consumption calculations demonstrated that the system components were mutually compatible and that the daily energy demand could be met under suitable solar irradiation conditions. The obtained results indicate that the developed system provides a feasible and scalable solution for autonomous UAV stations and similar off-grid applications. | en_US |
