Kur’an-I Kerim’de Ta‘Rîz Üslûbu

Abstract

ÖZET: Bu çalışma; Kur’an-ı Kerim’de en sık başvurulan ve ifade gücü yüksek belâğî yöntemlerden biri olan “ta‘rîz üslubu” üzerine gerçekleştirilmiş; kavramsal temelleri saptamayı, anlamsal işleyişini çözümlemeyi ve tematik boyutlarını ortaya koymayı amaçlayan tematik, tefsîrî ve analitik bir araştırmadır. Ta‘rîz üslubu, bünyesinde barındırdığı geniş ifade potansiyeli ve sahip olduğu yüksek esneklik sayesinde, ilâhî hitabın kastettiği pek çok maksadın yetkinlikle icrasına imkân tanıması bakımından Kur’an-ı Kerim’de geniş bir kullanım alanına sahiptir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle kavramın epistemolojik ve terminolojik açıdan kökenleri ele alınmıştır. Bu doğrultuda dil bilim, belâgat, fıkıh usûlü ve tefsîr dâhil olmak üzere muhtelif İslâmî ve edebî ilim dallarında kavramın sınırlarını belirlemeye ve muhtevasını geliştirmeye dönük ilmî müteselsil katkılar gözden geçirilmiştir. Araştırma; ta‘rîzin anlam ortaya koyma işlevini, anlamsal açıdan karışma ihtimali bulunan diğer ıstılahlardan ayrıştığı hususları ve dolaylı anlamların teşekkülüne dâhil olan gramatik, retorik ve sentaktik araç ile kalıpları sarih bir biçimde tespit etmeyi hedefler. Bunların yanı sıra, Kur’an-ı Kerim’in ta‘rîz üslubunu istihdam etmek suretiyle gözettiği belâğî amaçlar ile bu üslubun Kur’an metnindeki muhteva ve tezahür bakımından en tesirli biçimde icra edildiği alanların tayini çalışmanın temel amaçları arasında yer almaktadır.

ABSTRACT: This research is a foundational, exegetical, analytical, and thematic study of one of the most significant expressive styles employed in the Noble Qur’an, namely, the style of taʿrīḍ—indirect allusion or insinuation. This style is frequently employed in the Qur’an due to its broad expressive potential, which enables it to accomplish many of the intended purposes of discourse. The study begins by grounding the term conceptually through a review of scholarly contributions across various disciplines, including linguistics, rhetoric, legal theory, and Qur’anic exegesis. It also examines the manner in which taʿrīḍ operates in generating allusive meanings and distinguishes it from related terms. The study further seeks to identify the means, tools, and forms that contribute to the generation of allusive meanings; to elucidate the rhetorical purposes pursued by the Qur’an through its employment of the style of taʿrīḍ; and to determine the domains in which taʿrīḍ appears in the Qur’an with particular strength and effect. To achieve these objectives, the research adopts a composite methodology combining induction, description, analysis, inference, and critique. The study consists of an introduction and four main chapters. By the end of the research, the study arrives at a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the clarification of the definition of taʿrīḍ as an indirect mode of discourse. In generating its allusive meanings, taʿrīḍ relies on a wide range of syntactic forms, rhetorical patterns, figurative devices, usage-based styles, and grammatical tools, with the assistance of both textual and contextual indicators. The mode of signification that leads to these allusive meanings may be described as contextual and situational signification. Allusive meanings are meanings dependent upon utterances, rather than mental concomitants necessarily entailed by them. The study also establishes that many Qur’anic verses contain allusive meanings and that the purposes pursued by the Qur’an through this style reflect its broad expressive potential across vital thematic domains.
