Rectifying structure with high voltage operation based on CuBO2 as an UV photocatalyst
(2014)CuBO2/p-Si diode is a new rectifying structure with photosensing, which is a candidate for producing high voltage protection circuit in electronic application. It has been seen that the photocurrent in the reverse bias I-V ... -
Apoptotic effects and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase responses in liver and gill tissues of rainbow trout treated with chlorpyrifos
(2014)We investigated apoptotic effects and changes in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) enzyme activity in liver and gill tissues of fish exposed to chlorpyrifos. Three different chlorpyrifos doses (2.25, 4.5 and 6.75. ... -
Temperature-dependent current-voltage characteristics in thermally annealed ferromagnetic Co/n-GaN Schottky contacts
(2014)Co/n-GaN SDs has been prepared by magnetron DC sputtering technique. The Co/n-GaN SDs have annealed at 600 °C after a post-deposition. The diode parameters such as the ideality factor, barrier height and Richardson constant ... -
Clonal micropropagation of Pistacia lentiscus L. and assessment of genetic stability using IRAP markers
(2015)An efficient protocol for clonal micropropagation of selected genotypes of lentisk, Pistacia lentiscus L., which is cultivated for the masticha resin, has been developed using shoot tip explants originating from in vitro ... -
Determination of the Fatty Acid Composition of the Fruits and Different Organs of Lentisk (Pistacia lentiscus L.)
(2015)This paper reports the fatty acid composition of the oil extracts from seeds and in vivo and in vitro grown organs of Pistacia lentiscus L. were determined by using gas chromatography. The main fatty acids were linoleic ... -
The effect of annealing temperature on the electrical characterization of Co/n type GaP Schottky diode
(2015)The Co/n-GaP nano-Schottky diodes have been fabricated to investigate effect of annealing temperature on the characteristics of the device. DC Magnetron sputtering technique has been used for Co metallic contact. The samples ... -
Tuning of Optimal Classical and Fractional Order PID Parameters for Automatic Generation Control Based on the Bacterial Swarm Optimization
(2015)Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm converges rapidly during the initial stage of a global search, but around global optimum, the search process slows down. In order to overcome this problem and to further enhance the ... -
Measurement of Li X-ray fluorescence production cross sections and intensity ratios of some elements at 59.54 keV
(2015)The Li (i = l, α, β, γ) X-ray production cross section and Lα/Ll, Lα/Lβ, Lα/Lγ, Ll/Lβ, Ll/Lγ, and Lβ/Lγ intensity ratio values for Yb, Ta, W, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th, and U have been determined using an excitation geometry at ... -
Effects of the hydroxyurea derivative 1,3,4-thiadiazoles on antioxidant vitamins and MDA in serums of rats and cell viability of MCF-7 breast cancer cells
(2015)In this study, the effects of as used ligand [1-hydroxy - 2 - (5 - (trifluoromethyl) - 1, 3,4-thiadiazole-2 - yl) guanidine] and its Mn, Cd, Cr complexes on the antioxidant vitamins and MDA levels in the serums of rats and ... -
Antioxidant responses of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) gills after exposure to hydrogen peroxide
(2015)We evaluated antioxidant responses of Oncorhynchus mykiss, experimentally exposed to different concentrations of hidrogen peroxide (H2O2). Different concentrations of H2O2 (50 and 100 ppm) were administrated to the fish ... -
Determination of K shell absorption jump factors and jump ratios of 3d transition metals by measuring K shell fluorescence parameters
(2015)Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence technique (EDXRF) has been employed for measuring K-shell absorption jump factors and jump ratios for Ti, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu elements. The jump factors and jump ratios for these ... -
