(2016)Thioredoxin reductase (E.C 1.6.4.5.; TrxR) is an enzyme belonging to the avoprotein family of pyridine nucleotide-disulfide oxidoreductases. In this study, mitochondrial TrxR enzyme was purified from rainbow trout mitochondria. ... -
New hydrazine derivatives as corrosion inhibitors for mild steel protection in phosphoric acid medium. Part A: Experimental study
(2016)The inhibitory effects of three hydrazine derivatives, namely 1,2-bis(pyrrol-2-ylidenemethyl)hydrazine (HZ1), 1,2-bis(thiophen-2-ylidenemethyl)hydrazine (HZ2) and 1,2-Bis(furyl-2-ylidenmethyl)hydrazine (HZ3) for the corrosion ... -
The effect of AL3+ and HG4+ on glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase from capoeta umbla kidney
(2016)Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (EC 1.1.1.49; G6PD) is an important enzyme found in all mammal tissues, and produces NADPH in the metabolism. NADPH provides a reductive potential to maintain a balanced redox state within ... -
Biological activities, phenolic profiles and essential oil components of Tanacetum cilicicum (BOISS.) GRIERSON
(2016)Tanacetum species are consumed as tea in Turkey. We comparatively evaluated the phytochemical potentials and antioxidant activities of the essential oil and methanolic extracts of Tanacetum cilicicum. The chemical constitutes ... -
Conformal anti-invariant submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds
(2016)We introduce conformal anti-invariant submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We give examples, investigate the geometry of foliations that arose from the definition of a conformal submersion, ... -
Turkish propolis supresses MCF-7 cell death induced by homocysteine
(2016)Elevated plasma homocysteine (Hcy) level is a most important risk factor for various vascular diseases including coronary, cerebral and peripheral arterial and venous thrombosis. Propolis is produced by honeybee from various ... -
