Selection of walnut types with high fruit bearing and quality in Sanliurfa population
(2010)This study was conducted to determine walnut types with high fruit bearing and fruit quality within seedling population in Siverek and Hilvan districts of Sanliurfa province and their villages in Turkey during years 2005 ... -
Barrier height temperature coefficient in ideal Ti/n-GaAs Schottky contacts
(2010)We have measured the I-V characteristics of Ti/n-GaAs Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs) in the temperature range of 60-320 K by the steps of 20 K. The SBDs have been prepared by magnetron DC sputtering. The ideality factor n ... -
Evaluation of grain yield and quality of barley varieties under rainfed conditions
(2010)This study was carried out in 2002 to 2003 and 2003 to 2004 seasons at the experimental area of Elazi{dotless}ǧǧ Agriculture Provincial Directorate in Turkey to investigate the genetic and environmental variation of grain ... -
The theoretical and experimental study on double-Gaussian distribution in inhomogeneous barrier-height Schottky contacts
(2010)We have considered multi-Gaussian distribution of barrier-heights for non-interactive barrier inhomogeneities in the inhomogeneous Schottky diodes, and we have shown the presence of the intersecting behavior in the ... -
Analysing space charge-limited conduction in Au/n-InP Schottky diodes
(2010)The theory of space charge limited currents (SCLC) was investigated at the range of 160300 K temperatures. Currentvoltage measurements show that the current flow is space charge limited and influenced by traps. At low ... -
Turbidity measurements and modified imhoff cone method for estimation of suspended sediment concentration
(2010)The requirement for monitoring of suspended sediment concentrations (SSCs) with good temporal and spatial resolution has led to the development of methods for sediment measurements. In this study, two practical and relatively ... -
The effect of different nitrogen and irrigation levels on fatty acid composition of peanut oils
(2010)This study was carried out to determine the effect of nitrogen doses and irrigation levels on fatty acid composition of peanut oils grown in Southeast Anatolia Region. Nitrogen and irrigation levels affected all parameters ... -
The Effects of Different Nitrogen and Phosphorus Rates on Some Quality Traits of Potato
(2010)This study was conducted to determine the effects of nitrogen (0, 120, and 240 kg N ha-1) and phosphorus (0, 90, and 180 kg P2O5 ha-1) doses on some tuber quality traits of the potato cultivar Agria under the ecological ... -
On temperature-dependent experimental I-V and C-V data of Ni/n-GaN Schottky contacts
(2010)We report the current-voltage (I-V) and capacitance-voltage characteristics (C-V) of Ni/n-GaN Schottky diodes. Gallium nitride is a highly promising wide band gap semiconductor for applications in high power electronic and ... -
Genotype × environment interaction and phenotypic stability analysis for grain yield and several quality traits of durum wheat in the South-Eastern Anatolia region
(2010)The objectives of this study were to assess genotype × environment (GEI) interaction and to determine stability of 14 durum wheat (Triticum turgidum var. durum Desf.) cultivars for grain yield, test weight, thousand grain ... -
Effects of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization on micro nutrient contents of Trifolium angustifolium and Lotus suaveolens from fabaceae on a grassland ecosystem: The case of Kahramanmaras, eastern mediterranean region of Turkey
(2010)This study examined the effectiveness of various grass plants as Trifolium angustifolium and Lotus suaveolens from Fabaceae to fertilizer treatments (N+P fertilization) to encourage the micro nutrition of this vegetation. ... -
Assessment of parametric and non-parametric methods for selecting stable and adapted durum wheat genotypes in multi-environments
(2010)Seventeen parametric and non-parametric methods for grain yield of 5 cultivars and 20 advanced durum wheat genotypes evaluated across 10 environments during the 2004-2007 growing seasons were used to assess performance ... -
Transition metal complexes derived from 1,3-dioxalane groups and vic-dioxime ligands: Thermal, magnetic and spectral studies
(2010)A novel substituted vic-dioxime ligand containing the amino group, N,N′-[4,4′-{ethane-1,2-di-yl-bis(oxy)bis(4,1-phenylene)} bis(N′-hydroxy)- 2-(hydroxyimino)acetamidamide] (L1) has been prepared from 1,2-bis(p-aminophenoxy) ... -
Land suitability evaluation for reducing soil losses in kahramanmaras, Turkey
(2010)To indicate the effect of land evaluation in reducing erosion, the amount of soil loss developed under the conditions of current land use was compared with those under suitable land use in Karacasu district of Kahramanmaras. ... -
Tannin, protein contents and fatty acid composition of the seeds of some Trifolium L. species from Turkey
(2011)The seed oils of seven Trifolium species (Leguminosae) were investigated for their protein, tannin contents and fatty acid compositions. The fatty acid compositions of these seven different species were determined by gas ... -
Effects of ceftazidime pentahydrate, prednisolone, amikacin sulfate, ceftriaxone sodium and teicoplanin on bovine milk lactoperoxidase activity
(2011)The antibiotics are substances that kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria. Most antibiotics are modified chemically from original compounds found in nature. The antibiotics were frequently used for antimicrobial therapy. ... -
The pinch-off effect and inhomogeneous barrier height analysis in Al/p-GaAs Schottky barrier diodes
(2011)Al/p-GaAs Schottky barrier diodes (33 dots) were identically prepared. The effective barrier height values of one of the Al/p-GaAs Schottky barrier diodes were obtained as 0.681 and 0.945 eV from current-voltage characteristics ... -
