Plant disease and pest detection using deep learning-based features
(2019)The timely and accurate diagnosis of plant diseases plays an important role in preventing the loss of productivity and loss or reduced quantity of agricultural products. In order to solve such problems, methods based on ... -
Relationships between Cement Dust Emissions and Soil Properties
(2019)Composite soils from conventional tillage (CT) and no-till (NT) fields under wheat (Triticum vulgare cultivar Dogu-88) were randomly collected (0-30 cm depth) in triplicate at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 km distance to evaluate ... -
THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT IRRIGATION APPLICATIONS ON THE BLOSSOM-END ROT IN TREATED WASTEWATER-IRRIGATED TOMATOES (LYCOPERSICON ESCULENTUM)
(2019)The study investigates the effect of water deficit conditions on blossom-end rot (BER) in tomato. Drip irrigation was used in irrigation. Therefore, experiment was conducted as a randomized complete block design (three ... -
THE EFFECT OF ORGANIC MATTER APPLICATIONS ON THE SATURATED HYDRAULIC CONDUCTIVITY AND AVAILABLE WATER-HOLDING CAPACITY OF SANDY SOILS
(2019)Soils are natural resources that require preservation and good management due to their ever-changing structure. Among the soil management applications, organic material amendments are known to be the most practical soil ... -
ROTATIONAL SURFACES GENERATED BY PLANAR CURVES IN E-3 WITH DENSITY
(2019)In this paper, we obtain the parametric expressions of curves which have zero weighted curvature in a plane with density e(ax+by) and create the Smarandache curves of the obtaining curves. Also, we construct the rotational ... -
Conformal slant submersions
(2019)As a generalization of conformal holomorphic submersions and conformal anti-invariant submersions, we introduce a new conformal submersion from almost Hermitian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds, namely conformal slant ... -
Effects of formaldehyde on vascular endothelial growth factor, matrix metallopeptidase 2 and osteonectin levels in periodontal membrane and alveolar bone in rats
(2019)Background: The objective of this study was to investigate whether long term formaldehyde inhalation may affect periodontal membrane and alveolar bone loss leading to periodontitis. The negative effects of formaldehyde ... -
FATTY ACID AND TRACE ELEMENT COMPOSITIONS OF THE SEEDS OF DIFFERENT Onobrychis viciifolia GENOTYPES
(2019)Seed oil contents, fatty acid compositions and mineral contents of twenty Onobrychis viciifolia genotypes (sainfoin) were investigated in this study. The fatty acid composition of O. viciifolia genotypes had different ... -
Controllable AC/DC Integration for Power Quality Improvement in Microgrids
(2019)Renewable energy sources can be connected to utility grids by using AC and DC integration methods. The AC integration is a practical and cost-effective method thanks to its simple structure; however, its power quality ... -
Neuroprotective Effects of Lacosamide in Experimental Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury in Rats
(2019)AIM: To evaluate the effects of lacosamide on traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) in rats. MATERIAL and METHODS: A total of 28 male Wistar albino rats, each weighing 300-350 g, were included. They were randomly assigned to ... -
Plant recognition system based on extreme learning machine by using shearlet transform and new geometric features
