Foliar epidermal anatomy of Lamiaceae with special emphasis on their trichomes diversity using scanning electron microscopy
(2019)Foliar epidermal features were based on the micromorphology of trichomes types, epidermal cells and stomatal complex. Even though each feature has its own limited taxonomic value but collectively these characteristics may ... -
A simple rhodanine-based fluorescent sensor for mercury and copper: The recognition of Hg2+ in aqueous solution, and Hg2+/Cu2+ in organic solvent
(2019)Detection of copper and mercury attracts important in most environmental and biological systems. In this study, the simple probe 2-OxI-Rh containing rhodanine core was synthesized by a green approach and sensing properties ... -
Evaluation of radiation absorption characteristics in different parts of some medicinal aromatic plants in the low energy region
(2019)The mass attenuation coefficients, effective atomic numbers and electron densities of different parts (aerial parts, root and flower) of four medicinal aromatic plants (Pimpinella tragium subsp. lithophila, Scutellaria ... -
Determination of some selected absorption parameters for Cd, La and Ce elements
(2019)The total atomic attenuation cross-section values in the energy region from 14.932 to 57.142 keV were determined to obtain completely experimental values of the K shell absorption edge energies for Cd, La and Ce elements. ... -
Organic polymer-based monolithic capillary columns and their applications in food analysis
(2019)In recent years, the use of organic polymer monolithic capillary columns in separation science has gained popularity due to the fact that they are easy to fabricate and do not require retaining frits. These materials have ... -
Morphological and anatomical investigation of three Scandix species from Turkey
(2019)Morphological, morphometrical and anatomical features of some Scandix species (Scandix pecten-veneris, S. macrorhyncha and S. balansae) were investigated to compare and determine the taxonomic importance of these characters. ... -
Photosensing properties of ruthenium(II) complex-based photodiode
(2019)Ru(II) complex containing 2,6-di(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine ligand was synthesized to prepare organic-based photodiode. After forming the back contact with aluminum metal on p-Si by thermal evaporation, Al/Ru(II) complex/p-Si ... -
Phytochemicals of Chrysophthalmum montanum (DC.) Boiss. Roots and Their Antiproliferative Activities Against HeLa and C6 Cell Lines
(2019)Pre-fractionation and contemporary spectroscopic analysis provides important clues with regard to synergistic and antagonistic effects as well as biological activities in complex multi-mixtures, especially natural products. ... -
Positive integer solutions of some Diophantine equations in terms of integer sequences
(2019)In this paper, we define some new number sequences, which we represent as (B n ) , (b n ) , (y n ) and present relations of these new sequences with each other. Then, we give all positive integer solutions of some Diophantine ... -
Polymer-graphene hybrid stabilized ruthenium nanocatalysts for the dimethylamine-borane dehydrogenation at ambient conditions
(2019)In this work, we reported a new catalyst consistent of graphene oxide (GO) – poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) hybrid supported ruthenium nanoparticles and called as Ru@GO-PVP. The GO-coupled PVP nanosheets were prepared ... -
Experimental investigation of photon attenuation parameters for different binary alloys
(2019)Recently, technologists try to develop novel gamma radiation shielding materials instead of traditional materials such as lead and concrete with improved performance in gamma radiation shielding in medical applications and ... -
Determination of the objectives of motivation to nature training with natural sports class
(2019)The purpose of the present study was to determine the motivating reasons of the students studying at the Department of Physical Education and Sports in Bingöl University in the year 2017 in nature sports classes and in ... -
Radiation protective characteristics of some selected tungstates
(2019)The mass attenuation coefficients (μ/ρ) of calcium tungstate, ammonium tungsten oxide, bismuth tungsten oxide, lithium tungstate, cadmium tungstate, magnesium tungstate, strontium tungsten oxide and sodium dodecatungstophosphate ... -
Modified Huber ICA-based frequency domain channel equalizer for polarization division multiplexing coherent optical OFDM systems
(2019)Polarization division multiplexing coherent optical OFDM (PDM-CO-OFDM) is an approach which ensures reaching high data rates by enabling the utilization of the amplitude, phase and polarization of light at the same time ... -
Infertility Stigma Scale: A psychometric study in a Turkish sample
(2019)Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to conduct the Turkish validity and reliability study of the Infertility Stigma Scale (ISS). Design and methods: This methodological study was conducted in an infertility ... -
Biharmonic Riemannian submersions
(2019)In this paper, we study biharmonic Riemannian submersions. We first derive bitension field of a general Riemannian submersion, and we then use it to obtain biharmonic equations for Riemannian submersions with one-dimensional ... -
The Sariçiçek howardite fall in Turkey: Source crater of HED meteorites on Vesta and impact risk of Vestoids
(2019)The Sariçiçek howardite meteorite shower consisting of 343 documented stones occurred on September 2, 2015 in Turkey and is the first documented howardite fall. Cosmogenic isotopes show that Sariçiçek experienced a complex ... -
Activation and inhibition effects of some natural products on human cytosolic CAI and CAII
(2019)Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) play a significant function in diverse pathological and physiological processes. Their inhibitors and activators are suitable molecules to use as a drug in the treatment of different disease. In ... -
Experimental evaluation of dynamic performance of three-phase AC-DC PWM rectifier with PD-type-2 fuzzy neural network controller
(2019)Diode and thyristor-based rectifier circuits have been widely used in the industry. Due to non-linear structures of these circuits, they draw non-sinusoidal current from AC network as well as cause a low power factor in ...
