(2019)The 1,2,4-triazole and its derivatives were reported to exhibit various pharmacological activities such as antimicrobial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antitumoural, cytotoxic, and antioxidant properties. In this study, a ... -
The effects of various drying methods on the nutrient composition of alfalfa varieties
(2019)This study was carried out to reveal the effects of drying some alfalfa varieties using various drying methods on their nutrient composition. To this end, four drying methods (drying in the sun, shade, oven and microwave) ... -
Resveratrol enhances apoptotic and oxidant effects of paclitaxel through TRPM2 channel activation in DBTRG glioblastoma cells
(2019)Numerous studies have reported a strong association between increased production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the pathobiology of several diseases, and cancer in particular. Therefore, manipulation of cellular ... -
Characterization of CuO/n-Si heterojunction solar cells produced by thermal evaporation
(2018)Copper(II) oxide (CuO) in powder form was evaporated thermally on the front surface of an n-Si (1 0 0) single crystal using a vacuum coating unit. Structural investigation of the deposited CuO film was made using X-ray ... -
Effect of calcination and carbon incorporation on NiO nanowires for photodiode performance
(2018)We report the effect of calcination and carbon (C) incorporation on the characteristic properties of nickel oxide (NiO) consisting of nanowires. The identification of NiO is carried out at room temperature using X-ray ... -
Fabrication of rhodanine self-assembled monolayer thin films on copper: Solvent optimization and corrosion inhibition studies
(2018)Rhodanine self-assembled monolayer (Rh-SAM) films were prepared on copper specimens in different solvents. The assembled films were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy ... -
On the Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions of Neutral Mixed Type Differential Equations
(2018)In this study, the asymptotic behavior for solutions of neutral mixed type differential equation has been investigated, where some necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the convergence of all solutions ... -
A comparison of electrical parameters of Au/n-Si and Au/(CoSO 4 –PVP)/n-Si structures (SBDs) to determine the effect of (CoSO 4 –PVP) organic interlayer at room temperature
(2019)In this study, the Au/n-Si structures with and without (CoSO 4 –PVP) organic interlayer were fabricated on the same n-Si wafer and electrical characteristics of them were analyzed by using current, capacitance, and conductance ... -
Inhibitory effects of some flavonoids on thioredoxin reductase purified from chicken liver
(2019)Thioredoxin reductases (TrxRs) are selenocysteine-containing flavoenzymes that reduce Trxin NADPH-dependent manner. In the view of the direct vital role of TrxR in a wide range of biochemical and physiological processes, ... -
Social physique anxiety levels of Turkish combat sports (Martial arts) athletes and sedentary individuals
