Transparent CdO/n-GaN(0001) heterojunction for optoelectronic applications
(2015)Undoped CdO films were prepared by sol-gel method. Transparent heterojunction diodes were fabricated by depositing n-type CdO films on the n-type GaN (0001) substrate. Current-voltage (I-V) measurements of the device were ... -
Prediction of compressive strength of geopolymer composites using an artificial neural network
(2015)Geopolymers are highly complex materials which involve many variables and make for which modelling the properties is very difficult. There is no systematic approach in mix design for geopolymers. Since the amounts of ... -
Fabrication and characterization of alkaline leached CuZn/Cu electrode as anode material for direct methanol fuel cell
(2015)Alkaline-leached CuZn binary coatings were electrochemically prepared on a copper substrate and characterized for methanol electro-oxidation in alkaline solution. The electrodes were characterized by SEM (scanning electron ... -
Synthesis of N-Alkylated Indolines and Indoles from Indoline and Aliphatic Ketones
(2015)A survey of redox aminations of indoline with aliphatic ketones using bismuth nitrate as catalyst is described. A reaction of an equivalent amount of indoline and aliphatic cyclic and acyclic ketones provides a mixture of ... -
Redox Amination Scope of Benzylic Ketones with Indoline: Synthetic and Mechanistic Insights
(2015)Bi(NO3)3·5H2O-Catalyzed redox amination scope and mechanistic insights of benzylic ketones with indoline are discussed. The experimental results demonstrate that the formation of N-alkyl-substituted indole/indoline derivatives ... -
Interaction of carbonic anhydrase isozymes I, II, and IX with some pyridine and phenol hydrazinecarbothioamide derivatives
(2015)A series of hydrazinecarbothioamide derivatives incorporating ethyl, phenyl, tolyl, benzyl, and allyl moieties were prepared and tested as possible inhibitors of three members of the pH regulatory enzyme family, carbonic ... -
Chiral ligand-exchange separation and determination of malic acid enantiomers in apple juice by open-tubular capillary electrochromatography
(2015)This study describes the application of an open tubular capillary column for chiral ligand-exchange separation and determination of malic acid enantiomers in apple juice by open-tubular capillary electrochromatography ... -
Impact of gender on production of social capital in working life and the role of social capital on the reduction of gender inequalities
(2015)The purpose of this article is to question whether the concept of social capital has anything original to offer for understanding why women experience more gender inequalities in working life. Social capital, which is seen ... -
Removal of Pyronin B from aqueous solutions using raw and modified vermiculite
(2015)The raw vermiculite was chemically modified with phosphoric acid and applied as a potential adsorbent for the removal of Pyronin B, a xanthene derivative dye, from aqueous solution. The raw VMT and phosphoric acid-modified ... -
Analyzing emergency medical services at Batman city
(2015)In this study, data from Batman city ambulance system are taken and categorized according to ambulance groups, regions, types of illness and rural and urban areas. Response time of each ambulance group is found to compare ... -

(2016)Objective: The purpose of the study is to determine work-related tension, using the methods of overcoming the stress and the affecting factors in emergency staff Material and Methods: The universe of the study in descriptive ... -
Rejuvenation of mature lentisk by micrografting and evaluation of genetic stability
(2016)An in vitro propagation method was established for both male and female genotypes of lentisk using actively growing shoot tips derived from forcefully lignified shoots. The effects of growth regulators on in vitro morphogenesis ... -
Effects of Beak Trimming, Stocking Density and Sex on Carcass Yield, Carcass Components, Plasma Glucose and Triglyceride Levels in Large White Turkeys
(2015)This study was conducted to determine the effects of beak trimming, stocking density (D) and sex (S) on live weight (LW), carcass yield and its component, and plasma glucose (PG) and triglyceride levels in Large White ... -
Helminth fauna of Eurasian marsh frog, Pelophylax ridibundus (Pallas, 1771) (Anura: Ranidae) from Bingöl, Eastern Anatolia, Turkey
(2015)This study was conducted to investigate helminth parasites of Eurasian Marsh Frog (Pelophylax ridibundus) from Bingöl province, in 2012. A total of 42 specimen were collected from six localities from Bingöl (Eastern Anatolia, ... -
A novel photodiode based on Ruthenium(II) complex containing polydentate pyridine as photocatalyst
(2015)Ruthenium(II)-complex thin film, bearing pyridine-based tridentate was deposited on p-Si substrate by spin coating technique. The I-V measurements across the junction showed rectifying behavior. The reverse bias current ... -
Students’ attitude to job performance: Intercultural study
(2016)Knowledge and skills of future employees should be constantly developed in order to be in line with changes, information flow, and new technologies. High unemployment rates of youth lead us to look for reasons and means ... -
Δm-deferred statistical convergence of order α
(2016)In this paper, we introduce the concepts of Δm-deferred statistical convergence of order α and strong Δmr-deferred Cesàro summability of order α of real sequences. Additionally, some inclusion relations about Δm-deferred ... -
