(2011)In this study, 42 bread wheat pure lines obtained from 340 landraces, collected from 35 provinces of 7 regions in Turkey, and 7 modern bread wheat cultivars were evaluated under rainfed conditions in Konya, in 2005-2006 ... -
Photovoltaic and interface state density properties of the Au/n-GaAs Schottky barrier solar cell
(2011)The electrical and photovoltaic properties of the Au/n-GaAs Schottky barrier diode have been investigated. From the current-voltage characteristics, the electrical parameters such as, ideality factor and barrier height of ... -
Genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationships of Prunus microcarpa C.A. Mey. subsp. tortusa analyzed by simple sequence repeats (SSRs)
(2011)Prunus microcarpa C.A. Mey. subsp. tortusa is a deciduous shrub well adapted to severe winter and dry-hot summer conditions. As the first step to explore the genetic and horticultural potential of P. microcarpa C.A. Mey. ... -
Evapotranspiration, irrigation water applied, and vegetative growth relations of young apricot trees under different irrigation regimes
(2011)This study was carried out between 2004 and 2008 to investigate effects of different irrigation regimes on crop water use and vegetative growth of drip-irrigated young apricot trees. Six different irrigation treatments ... -
Schottky barrier height modification in Au/n-type 6H-SiC structures by PbS interfacial layer
(2011)We have prepared the Au/PbS/n-6H-SiC Schottky diodes with interface layer and the reference Au/n-6H-SiC/Ni Schottky diodes without interface layer to realize Schottky barrier height (SBH) modification in the Au/SiC Schottky ... -
Orientation-controlled synthesis and characterization of Bi 2Te3 nanofilms, and nanowires via electrochemical co-deposition
(2011)An electrochemical deposition technique based on co-deposition was used to deposit preferentially oriented Bi2Te3 nanostructures (nanofilm, and nanowire). The shared underpotential deposition (UPD) potentials for both Bi ... -
Electrochemical synthesis of poly-2-aminothiazole on mild steel and its corrosion inhibition performance
(2011)2-Aminothiazole (AT) was polymerized by electrochemical technique on a mild steel (MS) electrode from 0.01 M monomer containing 0.3 M ammonium oxalate solution. Cyclic voltammetry was used for the synthesis. Poly-2-aminothiazole ... -
On conditional distributions of order statistics
(2011)In this paper, we examine some properties of distributions of order statistics, order statistics of the standard logistic population and investigate some conditional distributions of order statistics. © 2011 Pushpa Publishing ... -
Electrical and optical characteristics of Au/PbS/n-6H-SiC structures prepared by electrodeposition of PbS thin film on n-type 6H-SiC substrate
(2011)To realize Schottky barrier height (SBH) modification in the Au/n-6H-SiC Schottky diodes, lead sulfide (PbS) thin films were grown on n-6H-SiC by electrodeposition method. At first, XRD experiments were performed to ... -
Adsorption and corrosion inhibition effect of 2-((5-mercapto-1,3,4- thiadiazol-2-ylimino)methyl)phenol Schiff base on mild steel
(2011)In this study, the inhibition effect of 2-((5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2- ylimino)methyl)phenol Schiff base (MTMP) on mild steel corrosion in 0.5 M HCl solution was studied. For this aim, electrochemical techniques such ... -
