THRESHOLD EFFECT IN BITCOIN PRICES
(2019)This study investigates the price behavior of Bitcoin using a two-regime TAR model, which is an autoregressive unit root. In the study, the method developed by Caner and Hansen (2001) was used which simultaneously tested ... -
ASTROLOGY, ASTRONOMY, AND MEDICINE IN HAMDANIDS
(2019)From the 10th century onwards, the impoverishment of the Abbasids' political authority over the decentralized cities resulted in cities with long-established cultural and scientific backgrounds, such as Mosul and Aleppo, ... -
CONFORMAL SEMI-INVARIANT RIEMANNIAN MAPS TO KAHLER MANIFOLDS
(2019)As a generalization of CR-submanifolds and semi-invariant Riemannian maps, we introduce conformal semi-invariant Riemannian maps from Riemannian manifolds to almost Hermitian manifolds. We give non-trivial examples, ... -
ON STATISTICALLY KOTHE-TOEPLITZ DUALS
(2019)In the present paper, we introduce the concept of Delta(m)-statistical boundedness of real (or complex) numbers sequences by using generalized difference operator Delta(m) and examine relationships between Delta(m)-statistical ... -
SOLUTIONS OF SOME DIOPHANTINE EQUATIONS IN TERMS OF HORADAM SEQUENCE
(2019)Let a, b, and P be integers such that (a, b) not equal (0, 0). In this study, we give all solutions of the equations x(2) - Pxy - y(2) = +/- (b(2) - Pab - a(2)), x(2) - (P-2 + 4)y(2) = +/- 4(b(2) - Pab - a(2)), x(2) - (P-2 ... -
Photoperiod effects on carcass traits, meat quality, and stress response in heart and lung of broilers
(2020)This study evaluated effects of photoperiod treatments on slaughter and carcass traits, meat quality, indicators of oxidative stress, and heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) levels of lung and heart tissues in broilers. Five ... -
The effect of functional movement screen and lower extremity training on hamstring/quadriceps ratio in football players
(2020)Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the effect of functional movement screen and lower extremity training on hamstring/quadriceps (H/Q) ratio in football players. Material: 11 players from Sivas Belediyespor, ... -
Multi-Resolution Intrinsic Texture Geometry-Based Local Binary Pattern for Texture Classification
(2020)In this paper, we propose a new hybrid Local Binary Pattern (LBP) based on Hessian matrix and Attractive Center-Symmetric LBP (ACS-LBP), called Hess-ACS-LBP.d The Hessian matrix provides the directional derivative information ... -
Effects of Light Color on Growth Performance, Histomorphometric Features of Small Intestine and Some Blood Parameters in Chukar Partridges (Alectoris chukar)
(2020)The study was conducted in order to compare the effects of light-emitting diode (LED) light with a different color on performance parameters, histomorphometric features of the small intestine and some blood parameters in ... -
The Ypresian to Lutetian marine record in NW Turkey: a revised biostratigraphy and chronostratigraphy and implications for Eocene paleogeography
(2020)The Eocene sedimentary units in the Kocaeli and Armutlu peninsulas and Iznik-Geyve region (northwest Turkey) consist of marine siliciclastic and carbonate deposits, locally intercalated with volcaniclastic rocks and tuffs ... -
Adsorption ability, stability and corrosion inhibition mechanism of phoenix dactylifera extrat on mild steel
(2020)Adsorption ability, stability and corrosion inhibition of phoenix dactylifera (date palm) seed extract (PDSE) as a natural corrosion inhibitor were studied on mild steel (MS) in 1 M HCl solution after different exposure ... -
Improving the efficiency of frequency domain channel estimation in 16-QAM polarization division multiplexing coherent optical OFDM systems using complex fixed-point ICA
(2020)Polarization division multiplexing coherent optical OFDM (PDM-CO-OFDM) systems are a method that provides to be achieved high data rate, offering the possibility for the use of information regarding polarization, amplitude ... -
