Deep neural network based approach for ECG classification using hybrid differential features and active learning
(2019)A novel active learning-based electrocardiogram (ECG) signal classification method using eigenvalues and deep learning is proposed. Six statistical features relating to ECG beat intervals are calculated separately for each ... -
Biharmonic Riemannian submersions
(2019)In this paper, we study biharmonic Riemannian submersions. We first derive bitension field of a general Riemannian submersion, and we then use it to obtain biharmonic equations for Riemannian submersions with one-dimensional ... -
Bundle Extreme Learning Machine for Power Quality Analysis in Transmission Networks
(2019)This paper presents a novel method for online power quality data analysis in transmission networks using a machine learning-based classifier. The proposed classifier has a bundle structure based on the enhanced version of ... -
The Saricicek howardite fall in Turkey: Source crater of HED meteorites on Vesta and impact risk of Vestoids
(2019)The Saricicek howardite meteorite shower consisting of 343 documented stones occurred on September 2, 2015 in Turkey and is the first documented howardite fall. Cosmogenic isotopes show that Saricicek experienced a complex ... -
MICROMORPHOLOGICAL AND ANATOMICAL INVESTIGATION ON SIX SPECIES OF ONOSMA L. (BORAGINACEAE) FROM TURKEY
(2019)Micromorphology and anatomy of six Onosma L. species, viz. O. argentata Hub.Mor., O. neglecta Riedl, O. proballanthera Rech. f, O. rechingeri Riedl, O. sericea Willd. and O. stenoloba Hausskn. ex Riedl from Turky were ... -
Evaluation of gamma-ray and neutron attenuation properties of some polymers
(2019)In the present work, we determined the gamma-ray attenuation characteristics of eight different polymers(Polyamide (Nylon 6) (PA-6), polyacrylonitrile (PAN), polyvinylidenechloride (PVDC), polyaniline (PANI), polyethylen ... -
An extensive investigation on gamma ray shielding features of Pd/Ag-based alloys
(2019)A comprehensive study of photon interaction features has been made for some alloys containing Pd and Ag content to evaluate its possible use as alternative gamma radiations shielding material. The mass attenuation coefficient ... -
Radiation protective qualities of some selected lead and bismuth salts in the wide gamma energy region
(2019)The lead element or its salts are good radiation shielding materials. However, their toxic effects are high. Due to less toxicity of bismuth salts, the radiation shielding properties of the bismuth salts have been investigated ... -
Fatty acid and lipophilic vitamin composition of seaweeds from Antalya and Canakkale (Turkey)
(2019)The lipophilic vitamin and fatty acid profiles were determined in five edible seaweeds: Corallina elongata J. Ellis \& Solander, 1786; Cystoseira barbata (Stackhouse) C. Agardh, 1820; Jania rubens (Linnaeus) J.V. Lamouroux, ... -
A New Approach for Root Surface Biomodification Using Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin (I-PRF)
(2019)Background: This study investigated the potential effects of Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin (I-PRF) on root coverage of free gingival graft surgery. Material/Method: A total of 40 patients with Miller class I or II gingival ... -
MOB (Mps one Binder) Proteins in the Hippo Pathway and Cancer
(2019)The family of MOBs (monopolar spindle-one-binder proteins) is highly conserved in the eukaryotic kingdom. MOBs represent globular scaffold proteins without any known enzymatic activities. They can act as signal transducers ... -
Comparing Predictive Performances of Tree-Based Data Mining Algorithms and MARS Algorithm in the Prediction of Live Body Weight from Body Traits in Pakistan Goats
(2019)The main purpose of this investigation was to comparatively evaluate predictive performances of multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS), chi-squared automatic interaction detector (CHAID), exhaustive CHAID and ... -
Comparison of experimental and theoretical radiation shielding parameters of several environmentally friendly materials
(2019)In this study, the gamma radiation shielding features of several environmentally friendly materials were investigated. For this purpose, several attenuation parameters, such as the mass attenuation coefficient (/), radiation ... -
Assessment of Farmers' Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices on Antibiotics and Antimicrobial Resistance
(2019)Simple Summary Antibiotic resistance is a global problem that threatens human and animal health and has increased in recent years. Although many factors are responsible for the development of resistance, antibiotics used ... -
Application of fractional-order voltage controller in building-integrated photovoltaic and wind turbine system
(2019)The share of electricity generation based on clean, inexhaustible and continuous energy sources, such as solar and wind, in total energy production, is rising day by day due to its significant advantages such as having the ... -
Co-inoculation effect of Rhizobium and Achillea millefolium L. oil extracts on growth of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) and soil microbial-chemical properties
(2019)Essential oils (EO) of several plant species have the potential to combat plant and fungal diseases. However, the effects of Achillea millefolium EO on the development of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), is still ... -
Effects of Cross-sectional Geometry and Force Direction on Bending Strength and Modulus of Elasticity of Some Softwood Beams
(2019)The effects of cross-sectional geometry and force direction on bending strength (MOR) and modulus of elasticity (MOE) were investigated in selected softwoods. The specimens were constructed of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris), ... -
Convolvulus plant-A comprehensive review from phytochemical composition to pharmacy
(2020)Convolvulus genus is a representative of the family of Convolvulaceae. Convolvulus plants are broadly distributed all over the world and has been used for many centuries as herbal medicine. Convolvulus genus contains various ... -
A Hybrid Methodology Using Heuristic Methods for Two-Dimensional Cutting and Packing Problem with Rectangular Pieces
(2019)The cutting and packing problem is the process of cutting small pieces of certain sizes and proportions from materials used for different purposes in industries. Because this problem cannot be expressed by mathematical ...
