The Effects of The Applications of Zeolite and Biochar to The Soils Irrigated With Treated Wastewater on The Heavy Metal Concentrations of The Soils and Leaching Waters from The Soils
(2021)The reuse of wastewaters for agricultural irrigation is a method used in arid and semi-arid regions. The heavy metal accumulation in soils caused by wastewaters and the heavy metals transported by the waters leaching into ... -
Reliability estimation of a stress-strength model with non-identical component strengths under generalized progressive hybrid censoring scheme
(2021)Generalized progressive hybrid censoring schemes have become quite popular depending progressive hybrid censoring scheme cannot be applied when few failures occur before pre-determined time T. Otherwise, due to the necessity ... -
Conformal generic submersions
(2021)Akyol and Şahin (2017) introduced the notion of conformal semiinvariant submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds. The present paper deals with the study of conformal generic submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds ... -
Association mapping of verticillium wilt disease in a worldwide collection of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum l.)
(2021)Cotton (Gossypium spp.) is the best plant fiber source in the world and provides the raw material for industry. Verticillium wilt caused by Verticillium dahliae Kleb. is accepted as a major disease of cotton production. ... -
Protective Effects of Curcumin Against Paclitaxel-Induced Spinal Cord and Sciatic Nerve Injuries in Rats
(2021)Paclitaxel (PTX) is an antineoplastic agent commonly used in the treatment of solid tumors and is known to cause dose-limiting peripheral neurotoxicity. This study was performed to evaluate the protective effect of curcumin ... -
Analysis of radiation attenuation properties for Polyester/Li2WO4 composites
(2021)This study presents gamma-shielding characteristics of Li2WO4 doped polyester composites. In the study, unsaturated polyester was chosen as resin, Li2WO4 was chosen as filling material, cobalt octoate 6% (CO-6) and methyl ... -
On the periodic solutions of third-order neutral differential equation
(2021)Using Krasnoselskii's fixed-point theorem, we obtain some results for the existence of periodic solutions to the third-order neutral differential equations with delay. The results obtained essentially improve, include, and ... -
Prospective usage of magnesium potassium phosphate cement combined with Bougainvillea alba derived biochar to reduce Pb bioavailability in soil and its uptake by Spinacia oleracea L
(2021)Combining biochar (BR) with other immobilizing amendments has additive effects on Pb immobilization and been recognized to be effective for the restoration of Pb polluted soils. However, the impacts of different proportions ... -
Temperature dependence of electrical parameters of the Cu/n-Si metal semiconductor Schottky structures
(2021)The main electrical characteristics of Cu/n-Si metal-semiconductor structures have been investigated in the temperature range 50 K to 310 K using current–voltage (I–V) and capacitance–voltage (C–V) measurements. It has ... -
A comparative study on biological properties and chemical profiles of different solvent extracts from Centaurea bingoelensis, an endemic plant of Turkey
(2021)This study focused on the biological evaluation and chemical characterization of Centaurea bingoelensis, an endemic plant to Turkey. Different solvent extracts (hexane, dichloromethane (DCM), ethyl acetate (EA), methanol, ... -
Silymarin alleviates docetaxel-induced central and peripheral neurotoxicity by reducing oxidative stress, inflammation and apoptosis in rats
(2021)Docetaxel (DTX) is a chemotherapeutic agent used in the treatment of various malignancies but is often associated with central and peripheral neurotoxicity. The aim of this study was to investigate the neuroprotective ... -
