Temperature dependence of interface state density distribution determined from conductance–frequency measurements in Ni/n-GaP/Al diode
(2020)The conductance measurements of the non-annealed (D1) and 400 °C annealed (D2) Ni/n-GaP/Al diodes were made over a wide frequency range of (10 kHz to 5 MHz) and temperature of (100–320 K with steps of 20 K) with bias voltage ... -
Flexible nanofiber based triboelectric nanogenerators with high power conversion
(2020)Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) convert small mechanical movements into electrical energy based on electrostatic principles. Nowadays, the energy efficiency of TENGs is low and needs to be increased for use in ... -
Exploring perceived stress among students in Turkey during the covid-19 pandemic
(2020)Students have been highly vulnerable to mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic, and researchers have shown that perceived stress and mental health problems have increased during the pandemic. The aim of this ... -
Histological investigation of the effects of fenoxycarb on neurosecretory cells in the silkworm, Bombyx mori brain
(2020)Fenoxycarb 0-ethyl N-(2-(4-pheoxyphenoxy)-ethyl) carbamate is the most potent juvenile hormone analogue against a variety of insect species including the silkworm Bombyx mori. In this study, the effects of fenoxycarb on ... -
Antioxidant and antimicrobial responses associated with in vitro salt stress of in vitro and in vivo grown Pistacia khinjuk stocks
(2020)P. khinjuk Stocks, known as B1tt1m or Buttum in Turkey, is a member of the Anacardiaceae family. The essential oil of khinjuk pistachio has been used to treat various illnesses because of their anti-inflammatory, anticancer, ... -
Catalytic activity of electrodeposited ternary Co–Ni–Rh thin films for water splitting process
(2020)The influence of the deposition parameters on the composition and structure of Co–Ni–Rh ternary alloys was studied. The catalytic activity of the coatings for the hydrogen evolution process was investigated in 6 M KOH ... -
Flameless combustion investigation of CH4/H2 in the laboratory-scaled furnace
(2020)In the present study, mild flame or “flameless” combustion of methane, hydrogen and methane/hydrogen blended fuels in a furnace having internal recirculation of product gas have been numerically investigated with Gri-Mech ... -
Turbulent flames investigation of methane and syngas fuels with the perspective of near-wall treatment models
(2020)The near-wall treatment models play an important role in accurate turbulent flow simulation, particularly the ones close to the boundary layer. In the study, three k−ε epsilon near-wall treatment models, such as Enhanced ... -
A new pyramidal concatenated CNN approach for environmental sound classification
(2020)Recently, there has been an incremental interest on Environmental Sound Classification (ESC), which is an important topic of the non-speech audio classification task. A novel approach, which is based on deep Convolutional ... -
Deep network approach with stacked sparse autoencoders in detection of DDoS attacks on SDN-based VANET
(2020)Software-defined network (SDN)-based vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is an outstanding technology for smart transportation as it increases traffic safety, efficiency, comfort, and manageability. However, despite all its ... -
Methanol electrooxidation activity of binary CoAg electrocatalyst
(2020)As the energy demand and diversity increases human beings need new energy sources or energy converters. Among energy convertion technologies, direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) have attracted much attention due to their ... -
Bond strength of ceramic or resin CAD-CAM laminate veneers
(2020)Purpose: To compare the bond strength of ceramic or resin laminate veneers produced using computer assisted design/computer assisted machining (CAD-CAM). Methods: 80 teeth were prepared for laminate veneer, and divided ... -
Electrical properties of amino acid substituted novel cinnamic acid compounds
(2020)Amino acid conjugates are combinations of one or more compounds, at least one of them active in terms of biological, pharmacological or physical. In this work, some novel amino acid conjugates, four different aldehydes ... -
A review of indirect tool condition monitoring systems and decision‐making methods in turning: Critical analysis and trends
(2021)The complex structure of turning aggravates obtaining the desired results in terms of tool wear and surface roughness. The existence of high temperature and pressure make difficult to reach and observe the cutting area. ... -
Quality assurance and authentication of herbal drug (Argyrolobium roseum and Viola stocksii) through comparative light and scanning electron microscopy
(2021)The quality assurance and authentication of crude herbal drugs play important role in the effective therapeutic effect of herbal drug and their products. There are many reported problems in quality assurance of herbal crude ... -
Application of Spectroscopic Techniques to Evaluate Heat Treatments in Milk and Dairy Products: an Overview of the Last Decade
(2021)In the food industry, thermal treatments are generally an essential step to increase the shelf life of the products. This is especially true for milk and dairy products in which heat treatments help to eliminate pathogenic ... -
Effect of different doses of hydrated C60 fullerene nanoparticles on ram semen during cool storage
(2021)The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different doses of hydrated C60 fullerene (C60HyFn) nanoparticles on ram semen during cool storage at 5 °C. Semen samples were collected from 7 healthy Akkaraman rams ... -
