(2019)Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of psychoeducation, given to nurses working in a psychiatry clinic, on level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding physical restraint. Design and Methods: This ... -
Identification of antigen B (AgB) Gene polymorphism in cattle and sheep isolates of Echinococcus granulosus and investigation of effects on serological diagnosis
(2019)Cystic Echinococcosis (CE) is a worldwide common helminth disease caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus. The aim of this study is to determine the genetic differences between distinct isolates of E. granulosus ... -
Artificial neural network regression model to predict flue gas temperature and emissions with the spectral norm of flame image
(2019)This paper presents an experimental study on flue gas temperature (FGT) and emissions estimation in home-type nut coal-fired burner. The proposed method does not require prior knowledge of Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) camera ... -
Amoxicillin and gentamicin antibiotics treatment adversely influence the fertility and morphology through decreasing the Dazl gene expression level and increasing the oxidative stress
(2019)The present study was designed to explain the impact of amoxicillin, gentamicin, and cefazolin on the oxidative stress (OS) and reproductivity in the mouse testes. Our data showed that reduced glutathione (GSH) level, which ... -
Performance and emission properties of preheated and blended fennel vegetable oil in a coated diesel engine
(2019)The use of crude fennel seed oil in a diesel engine, whose combustion chamber was thermally insulated, with diesel fuel at specific rates was investigated in the present study. A single-cylinder air cooled diesel engine ... -
Conformable Fractional Order Lotka-Volterra Predator-Prey Model: Discretization, Stability and Bifurcation
(2019)The purpose of this study is to discuss dynamic behaviors of conformable fractional-order Lotka-Volterra predator-prey system. First of all, the piecewise constant approximation is used to obtain the discretize version of ... -
Temperature dependent Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity properties of graphene undoped and doped Ca-Pr-Co oxide thermoelectric nanocomposites
(2019)This study aims to observe the changes in the structural characterization and physical properties of calcium-praseodymium-cobalt oxide thermoelectric materials with graphene doping. Structural characterizations were examined ... -
Phycolimnological study on water bodies of two major parks in erbil province (North Iraq)
(2019)The study was conducted in Sami Abdurrahman Park and Shanadar Park, Erbil, (North Iraq); four stations were selected in Sami Abdurrahman Park and four stations in Shanadar Park. Water samples were collected in polyethylene ... -
Homocysteine-Induced Damage of Cultured Glioblastoma Cells: Amelioration by Curcumin
(2019)High levels of homocysteine (Hcy) were shown to be a significant independent risk factor for some neurological diseases. Such a condition induces excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROSs) in human glioma cells. ... -
Performance comparison of classification algorithms for the diagnosis of mastitis disease in dairy animals
(2019)Mastitis is a disease that occurs in milk-giving organisms and can reach fatal dimensions especially in dairy animals. This disease, which is usually caused by bacteria, causes significant changes in the physical and ... -
The effects of hesperidin on sodium arsenite-induced different organ toxicity in rats on metabolic enzymes as antidiabetic and anticholinergics potentials: A biochemical approach
(2019)In our work, it was purposed to investigate the effects of sodium arsenite (SA) and hesperidin (HSP) administered to rats on some metabolic enzymes including carbonic anhydrase (CA), aldose reductase (AR), paraoxonase-1 ... -
Confident performance of chitosan and pistachio shell biochar on reducing Ni bioavailability in soil and plant plus improved the soil enzymatic activities, antioxidant defense system and nutritional quality of lettuce
(2019)Nickel being a toxic heavy metal is considered as a hazardous pollutant in the soil environment. The cultivation of edible vegetables on Ni contaminated soil can deteriorate plant quality which causes critical health issues ... -
Comparison of experimental and theoretical radiation shielding parameters of several environmentally friendly materials
(2019)In this study, the gamma radiation shielding features of several environmentally friendly materials were investigated. For this purpose, several attenuation parameters, such as the mass attenuation coefficient (μ/ ρ), ... -
Relationship between price and volume in the Bitcoin market
(2019)Purpose: Bitcoin has recently become the focal point of investors as a digital currency and an alternative payment method. Despite Bitcoin being in the spotlight, a gap in the literature on its price-setting behaviors has ... -
Nanocontainers for food safety
(2019)Polymer-based, lipid-based, protein-based nanocontainers in different forms such as nanoemulsions, nanofibers, solid lipid nanoparticles, and nanoliposomes as nanodelivery systems have recently attracted great attention ... -
Investigation of the efficiencies of the (SnO2-PVA) interlayer in Au/n-Si (MS) SDs on electrical characteristics at room temperature by comparison
(2019)Au/n-Si (MS) and Au/(SnO2-PVA)/n-Si (MPS) type SDs were manufactured at identical conditions for investigation of the (SnO2-PVA) organic/polymer interlayer effects on the electrical characteristics using voltage dependent ... -
