Investigating the wear behaviours of new type curvilinear gears
(2015)In this study, the wear behaviors of curvilinear involute-profile gears, which were intended to be used in the industry and manufactured successfully, have been identified. For this purpose, the gears have been manufactured ... -
Comparison of fattening performance, carcass characteristics, and egg quality characteristics of Japanese quails with different feather colors
(2015)The objective of this study was to compare fattening performance, carcass traits, and egg quality of Japanese quails with different feather colors (white, dark brown, golden, and wild-type). In the study, 360 one-day-old ... -
Prohexadione calcium on the growth and quality of eggplant seedlings
(2015)The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of prohexadione calcium concentrations on the growth and quality of eggplant (Solanum melongena) seedlings. The effects of prohexadione calcium concentrations of 0, ... -
Synergistic dehydrogenation of dimethylamine-borane by oleylamine stabilized Cu39Pt61 nanoparticles
(2015)Dimethylamine-borane (DMAB) complex (CH3)2NHBH3 is considered to be the most promising candidate for hydrogen applications among all other practical hydrogen storage materials. It has 3.5 H2%wt and is soluble in solutions ... -
Erosion risk mapping of Capakcur stream watershed using geographical information system and remote sensing
(2015)Capakcur stream watershed located in the southwest of Bingol city, in Turkey, covers a 106 km2 area. The watershed with higher slope degrees faces severe soil erosion due to vegetation destruction, lithological and climate ... -
Palladium(II) complexes bearing bidentate pyridyl-sulfonamide ligands: Synthesis and catalytic applications
(2015)New palladium(II) complexes ([Pd(1-5)2], 6-10, (1-5 = bidentate pyridyl-sulfonamide ligands)) were obtained from the reaction between Pd(OAc)2 and bidentate pyridyl-sulfonamide ligands. The synthesized compounds were ... -
Capacitance-conductance-frequency characteristics of Au/Ni/n-GaN/undoped GaN Structures
(2015)Frequency-dependent capacitance (C) and conductance (G) characteristics of the Au/Ni/n-GaN/undoped GaN device have been investigated in the reverse bias voltage range of 0.00-0.40 V. The GaN films have been epitaxially ... -
Modularly evolved 2-aminodmap/squaramides as highly active bifunctional organocatalysts in Michael addition
(2015)We report a new family of chiral bifunctional acid/base type organocatalysts, 2-aminoDMAP/Squaramides, which are proved to be highly active (1 mol % cat. loading) promoters in conjugate addition of dibenzoylmethane to ... -
μ-acetato / μ-aqua bridged binuclear vic-dioxime complexes thermal, magnetic and spectral studies
(2015)A new amino vic-dioxime ligand, N,N′-[3,3′-{ethane-1,2-di-yl-bis(oxy)bis(3,1-phenylene)}bis(N′-hydroxy-)2-(hydroxyimino)-acetimidamide] (LH4) was synthesized by reaction of 1,2-bis(m-aminophenoxy)ethane and anti-chloroglyoxime. ... -
Determination of K-shell absorption jump factors and jump ratios for La2O3, Ce and Gd using two different methods
(2015)The K shell absorption jump factors and jump ratios for La2O3, Ce and Gd samples have been determined using the gamma or X-ray attenuation and EDXRF methods. It is the first time that the K shell absorption jump factor and ... -
