Abstract

Özet İktisat bilimi günümüzde en sık kullanılan tanımıyla; insanoğlunun karşı karşıya olduğu kıt kaynaklar sorununu, kaynakların mevcut kullanım alanları arasındaki en etkin dağıtımını sağlayarak çözmeye çalışan bir bilim dalı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ekonomi bilimi, bireylerin ekonomik tercihlerini incelemesi açısından bireyi temel alan bir bilim dalıdır. Ekonomideki en temel aktör bireydir. Bireyin dâhil olduğu her konuya psikoloji faktörü de dâhil olmaktadır. Psikoloji ise insan ve hayvan davranışlarını inceleyen pozitif bir bilim dalı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. İktisat ve psikoloji bilimlerine baktığımız zaman her ikisinin de ilgi alanlarının temelinde insanın yattığını görürüz. İktisat bilimi insanın ekonomik tercihleri, seçimleriyle ilgilenirken; psikoloji bilimi insan davranışları ve davranışın altında yatan nedenlerle ilgilenmektedir. Diğer bir ifade ile psikoloji bilimi, davranışın nedenleri ile ilgilenmektedir. Bireylerin bir ekonomideki temel aktörler olduklarını düşünürsek, bireylerin davranışları, tutumları, beklentileri, tercihlerinin iktisat bilimi açısından hayati öneme sahip olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Bu noktada bireylerin tercihleri ve beklentilerinin arkasında yatan nedenleri açıklamaya çalışan bir bilim dalı olarak psikoloji bilimi önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, iktisat bilimi ile psikoloji bilimi arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Abstract General an assessment of economy and psychology relationships in the context of human behavior Today with the most commonly used defi nition of economics; is defi ned as a science which is trying to solve scarce resources issue that mankind is facing, by providing the most eff ective distribution of resources between the existing usages. Economics is a science which bases on individuals investigation in terms of individual economic choices. The main actor in the economy is individual. When an individual involves any kind of topic, then psychological factors also involve. Psychology is defi ned as a science that examines the human and animal behavior. When we take a look at economics and psychology, both on the basis of their interests, we see the mankind. Economics is interested in economic choices and elections of human; and psychology is interested in the human behaviors and the causes underlying in the behavior. In other words, the science of psychology is interested in the causes of the behavior. Considering that mankind is the main actor in an economy, we can say that behaviors, attitudes, expectations and preferences of individuals are vital in terms of economics. At this point, the science of psychology has an importance. Because psychology is trying to explain the reasons behind the choices and expectations of the people. In this study, the relationship between economics and psychology is examined. In this regard, literature study was performed.
