Abstract

ÖZET: Bu tez, üslup ve üslubun toplumsal gelişimdeki rolünü ele almakta ve üslup aracılığıyla farklı ifade yöntemlerini incelemektedir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında Üslup, 19. yüzyılda eleştirel bir yöntem olarak ortaya çıkmış ve 20. yüzyılda dilbilimsel incelemelerin gelişmesi ve özellikle Saussure'ün fikirlerinden sonra yaygın bir yöntem haline gelmiştir. Günlük yaşamda, bir kişi aynı anlamı verse de bazı ifadelerden memnun olabilir ya da olmayabilir, ancak bu durum çoğu zaman konuşmacı için sorun teşkil edebilmektedir. İnsanlar, mesajlarını iletmek için birçok yöntem kullanma eğilimindedir, ancak etkili ve tatmin edici yol, kendiliğinden ortaya çıkmadığı, uzmanlık ve beceri gerektirdiği için yöntem olarak adlandırılır. Bu araştırma, betimleyici analitik yöntemi kullanarak ve Erbil ağzıyla yapılan bir anket aracılığıyla, şehir konuşucularının ağızlarını dört bölüm halinde ortaya koymaktadır. Şehirdeki konuşmacıların üslubu, fonetik ve kelime kullanımının yanı sıra olumlu kelime ve ifadelerin seçimi ile ilgili olarak ve sözdizimsel düzeyde, sosyal kurallara önemli ölçüde uyularak orta derecede yatay olarak sınıflandırılmıştır.

ABSTRACT: This Dissertation deals with Language style and its role in social development and it investigates different methods of expression through linguistic style. From this angle, Style as a critical method in 19th century appeared and afterwards it became a widespread method in 20th century after the development of linguistic investigations and specifically after Saussure's ideas. In everyday life, a person could be satisfied or dissatisfied in some expressions though they might give the same meaning, but this situation is often problematic to the speaker. Humans, for conveying their messages, tend to use many ways, but the effective and satisfying way is called method, since it does not come spontaneously, but it needs expertise and skills . This research, by using the descriptive analytical method and through a survey, that was conducted with the dialect of Erbil, demonstrates the dialect of the city speakers within four chapters. The language style of the speakers of the city as far as concerned phonetics and using the vocabulary as well as the choice of positive words and expressions, and at the syntactic level, is classified as moderately horizontal, with considerable observance of social rules .
