In this study aerial parts essential oil of Chaerophyllum crinitum Boiss. and Zosima absinthifolia (Vent.) Link were analyzed by HS-SPME/GC-MS. As a result twenty three and twenty six components were identified representing 95.46% and 95.30% of the oil, respectively. -pinene (28.3%), sabinene (28.95%) and -caryophyllene (10.87%) were detected main compounds of C. crinitum; octyl acetate (32.50%), octanol (20.60%) and -pinene (10.90%) were detected the major constituents of Z. absinthifolia. With this study, chemotypes of C. crinitum were detected -pinene and sabinene; whereas octylacetate and octanol were found to be the chemotypes of Z. absinthifolia. In addition studied plant samples were found to be rich in respect to essential oils and the results discussed natural product, renewable resources and chemotaxonomy.
