Abstract

ÖZET Araştırmanın asıl konusuna girilmeden önce petrolün tarihsel boyutu, petrol piyasasının genel rakipleri, yeni üreticiler, tüketiciler ve dağıtım kollarının tanıtımı yapılmıştır ve ardından dünyadaki petrol rezervlerinin üretimi, tüketimi ve bunlarla ilgili üretim ve dağıtım maliyetleri üzerinde detaylı bilgi verilmiştir. Hazırlamış olduğum bu tezde Petrolün keşfi ve petrolün etrafında sirayet eden küresel rekabet ve bunun İran devletinin egemenliğine ve varlığına yönelik tehdidi işlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Petrol, gerek enerji sektöründe, gerekse de üretici ülkelerin ekonomisinde büyük bir öneme sahiptir. ABSTRACT Before delving into the main topic of the research, an introduction is provided regarding the historical dimension of oil, general competitors in the oil market, new producers, consumers, and the introduction of distribution channels. Detailed information is then given on the production and consumption of global oil reserves, as well as production and distribution costs associated with them. In this thesis, I have attempted to address the discovery of oil and the global competition surrounding oil and its threat to the sovereignty and existence of the Iranian state. Oil holds significant importance both in the energy sector and in the economies of producing countries. In this research, the importance of oil in the Iranian economy and the impact of fluctuations in oil prices on the Iranian economy have been examined. The weight of the United States and OPEC in the oil market, coupled with Iran being the fourth-largest oil producer, has led to these countries being most affected by sharp fluctuations in oil prices.
