Bingöl Üniversitesi SosyalBilimlerEnstitüsü YüksekLisans Tez Özeti Tezin Başlığı :Down Sendromlu Çocuklara Sahip Ailelerin Sosyal Dışlanma Problemi Üzerine Bir Araştırma: Adıyaman İli Örneği Tezin Yazarı :Zeynel Abidin ŞENLİK Danışman :Doç.Dr.Ali Ulvi ÖZBEY Anabilim Dalı:Sosyoloji Bilim Dalı : Kabul Tarihi : Sayfa Sayısı :11(ön kısım) + 71 (tez) + 5 (ekler) “Down Sendromlu Çocuklara Sahip Ailelerin Sosyal Dışlanma Problemi Üzerine Bir Araştırma: Adıyaman İli Örneği” adlı tez çalışmasının amacı Down Sendromlu çocuklara sahip olan ailelerin toplumsal yaşama katılımlarını etkileyen ve engelleyen sosyal dışlanma sorunsalı başta olmak üzere sorunlarını tespit etmek, ailelerin sosyal yaşam üzerindeki etkisini ve ailelerin toplumsal yaşama katılımları açısından farklılık olup olmadığını araştırmak amaçlanmıştır.Down Sendromlu çocuklara sahip olan ailelerin sosyal, kültürel, ekonomik ve psikososyal açıdan yaşadıkları sosyal dışlanma ve toplumda var olagelmiş bu dışlanmanın zaman içindeki değişimi ve ailelerin geleceğe yönelik beklentileri de incelenmiştir.Çalışma, Adıyaman il merkezinde bulunan Adıyaman Down Sendromlular Derneği’ne üye olan ebeveynler ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler derinlemesine görüşme formu uygulanarak toplanmış elde edilen veriler betimsel yorumlayıcı analiz yöntemi ile yorumlanmıştır.Yapılan görüşmeler neticesinde Down Sendromlu bireye sahip olan ailelerin toplumsal yaşama katılımlarında değişik biçimlerde sosyal dışlanmaya maruz kaldıkları görülmüştür. Çalışmanın Down Sendromluların hak ve imkânlarının iyileştirilmesi adına çözüm önerileri sunarak ve farkındalık yaratarak literatüre katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir. The study was conducted with parents who are members of Adıyaman Association of Down Syndrome in Adıyaman city center.In the research, the data were collected by applying an in-depth interview form and the obtained data were interpreted with the descriptive interpretive analysis method.As a result of the interviews, it has been observed that families with a person with Down Syndrome are exposed to social exclusion in different forms in theirparticipation in social life. It is expected that the study will contribute to the literature by offering solutions and raising awareness in order to improve the rights and opportunities of people with Down Syndrome.
