dc.description.abstract | The interest in bioactive natural products (BNPs) has been growing. The number of analytical methods for the analysis of BNPs has been increasing. Liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) is a unique bio-analytical tool for the analysis of BNPs. Herein, the chromatographic applications based on LC-HRMS to analyze bioactive natural products are described. In addition, we present a critical discussion of the advantages of LC-HRMS and its future potential leading to interesting structural information in the analysis of BNPs as well as newly offers perspectives and insights in numerous branches of life sciences. © 2020 Elsevier B.V. | |
