Abstract

'Eğitim ve Yabancılaşma' adlı tez çalışmasının amacı; eğitim alanında, yabancılaşma kavramına getirilen farklı tanımlamalar ve yorumların açıklanarak, öğrencilerin akademik başarısızlıkları ile yabancılaşma kavramının arasındaki ilişkiyi sorgulamaktır. Çalışma, literatür taraması sonucu hazırlanan teorik bir çalışma olup, toplumsal bir sorun olarak görülen yabancılaşma kavramının çözümlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma usulüne göre hazırlanmıştır. Literatür üzerinde doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılarak teorik bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yabancılaşmanın bireyin toplumdan uzaklaşmasına, hayattan koparak başarısız olmasına neden olduğu belirlenmiştir. Toplum hayatına çeşitli aktiviteler ile katılım sağlayabilen bireyin, yabancılaşma sorununu ortadan kaldırabileceği anlaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin çeşitli faaliyetler ile toplum hayatına katılımlarının sağlanması durumunda, yabancılaşmanın ortadan kalkabileceği, Türkiye'de yabancılaşma kavramı üzerine ulusal araştırmaların yapılmadığı, batı ülkelerinde yapılan çalışma bulgularına göre açıklamalar yapıldığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of the thesis 'Education and Alienation' is; in the field of education, by explaining the different definitions and interpretations introduced to the concept of alienation, to question the relationship between the academic failures of the students and the concept of alienation. The method of the dissertation study is a theoretical study which is the result of the literature survey and the readings were made to solve the concept of alienation which is regarded as a social problem and an attitude towards the social benefit was adopted. The study was prepared according to qualitative research method. A theoretical study was carried out on the literature using a document review technique. It has been seen that the person who gets away from the society is in a state of alienation and causes the alienated individual to have some negative features such as a bad break. As a result of the readings, it is foreseen that the individual who can participate in the community life with various activities can get out of the question of alienation. In case of ensuring their participation in community life through various activities of students, in the middle of alienation can be lifted upon the concept of alienation in Turkey by making national research, according to the findings of a study conducted in western countries descriptions have reached the conclusion that done.
