In this study, Japanese quail were studied to determine the relationships between variety of weight measurements. For this
purpose, as the trial animal 60 of Japanese quail of live weight (g) carcass weight (g), breast weight (g), is the weight (g) and
internal organ weight (g) were taken. Body weight and various other weight the relationship between in the determination of the
correlation coefficient were investigated. According to, rearing systems (lattice and floor), and gender (male and female),
significance of difference between two regression and two correlation coefficient was tested separately. The two regression
coefficients according to both growing system and sex between examined body measurements is to similar are determined in a
general regression coefficients. General regression coefficient according to rearing systems the highest chest- internal organs
(1.688), the lowest live-croupe (0.18); according to gender highest live-carcass (1.237), the lowest live-but (0.243) was among
weight. General correlation coefficient according to rearing systems the highest live-carcass (0.926), is the lowest internal
organs-croupe (0.476); according to gender the highest live-carcass (0.932), the lowest internal organs-croupe (0.447) has been
among weight. However, a general correlation coefficient is not ascertained according to the rearing systems croupe-live, croupecarcass
and croupe- breast between weight; by sex carcass-croupe between wight isn’t to similar to the two correlation coefficient
tested.
