Abstract

The obtain the desired performance from the farm animals with high genetic potential, the applications of optimal care and animal-feed conditions and conditions in accordance with the provision of shelter structure are extremely important. The purpose of this research are examination and evaluation, which operate over 10 heads of cattle breeders association members current situation by taking shelter in affiliated enterprises in Bingol. In the study, representing the whole province, total 80 dairy farms selected by stratified and random sampling method were taken. As a result; a significant portion of growers (56.25%) were found to be 6-9 person family and 86.2% of the firms surveyed combined way (milk-meat) and 13.8% of businesses were found to be the family type. Shelter types were closed and free / bound determined that such shelters were present in all of the businesses surveyed. The construction of the shelter were 50% of the stones, 30% of the briquette and 20% from brick in the surveyed firms.
